Principal’s Message

Dear Arthur Ashe Jr. Elementary School Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Arthur Ashe Jr. Elementary School! We are excited to partner with you for another year of learning, growth, and success.

Our theme, Serving Up Success: Kindness, Learning, and Leadership, reflects our commitment to helping every All-Star thrive. We believe students achieve their best when they are supported, challenged, and inspired each day. Together, we will build a positive school community where kindness, academic excellence, and leadership are celebrated.

This year, we will continue to focus on:

• Kindness – Treating others with care, respect, and compassion.
• Learning – Growing academically through engaging, high-quality instruction.
• Leadership – Leading by example, making positive choices, and serving others.

A key instructional priority this year is Teacher and Student Clarity, ensuring students understand what they are learning, why they are learning it, and how they will know they are successful. This helps students become confident, engaged learners who take ownership of their academic growth.

Our work continues to align with the HCPS Journey to 2030 Strategic Plan by putting students first, fostering belonging, encouraging collaboration and innovation, and ensuring equitable opportunities for all.
